Meet the requirements to get started

Verify your age to begin delivering.

These include 4-door sedans, large passenger vehicles, or cargo vans with no seats in the back. Two-door vehicles and trucks or utes with open beds are ineligible.

You must be based in an area where Amazon Flex operates: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Geelong, Gold Coast, Gosford, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth or Sydney.

You must have a full, unrestricted Australian driver's licence. Provisional, international and digital driver’s licence are not accepted.

You are legally required by law to maintain compulsory third-party personal insurance (CTP). To deliver for Amazon Flex you are also required to hold third-party property damage (TPPD) insurance. While delivering, you're covered under Amazon's Commercial Auto Insurance Policy, which is in addition to your own policies and Personal accident Insurance at no extra cost. This is conditional on you holding personal CTP and TPPD insurance.

You receive your earnings through direct deposit. An Australian bank account is required.

You'll need an ABN registered in your personal name to deliver as an independent contractor.

You must pass a background check, completed through our provider, Accurate. You will receive an email from them once all other onboarding steps are complete.

During the onboarding process, New South Wales delivery partners will be given instructions to complete Bluecard safety training. This is a required step before you can accept blocks. Amazon Flex covers the cost of the course and your time to complete it. If you already have a valid Bluecard, you can provide proof of your existing training.
