1. Choose your offer for a delivery block
Delivery blocks define when, where, and how you deliver, including start time, delivery type, and earnings. In the Amazon Flex app, offers show which blocks you can accept.
2. See your earnings upfront
Each offer for a block shows earnings, time, and location.
3. Pick up packages
Use the app to find your assigned pickup location, get your packages, and begin your route.
4. Deliver within the timeframe
Blocks range from 1 to 8 hours, depending on delivery type and vehicle.
5. Collect your payment
Payments are typically deposited every Wednesday by direct deposit for all deliveries made in the previous 7 days.
Delivery types that work for you
Amazon Flex offers 2 types of delivery options to match your preferences. Here is a snapshot of what you can choose to deliver.
Amazon standard delivery
Amazon standard blocks last between 3 – 8 hours, depending on vehicle type, and require you to pick up packages from an Amazon delivery station at the start of your block.
Amazon grocery delivery
Amazon grocery blocks last between 1 – 2 hours and require you to pick up groceries or household items from Harris Farm Markets.*
*Amazon grocery blocks currently only operate in Sydney, Newcastle, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
Offer types
The Amazon Flex app will show you offers for available delivery blocks. Offers include the date, delivery type, your expected earnings, start time, and estimated duration.
Schedule-ahead offers
Ideal when you want to plan ahead and build your schedule around your available time and priorities. These delivery blocks become available up to 15 days before they begin.
Reserved offers
A scheduled delivery block available only to you for a limited time. After that, it opens up to other delivery partners.

Bring a mobile phone with the app installed
Clear personal items from your boot and backseat for safely storing all packages
Wear slip-resistant, closed-heel-and-toe shoes
Pick up a high-visibility, reflective safety vest at the station
Recommendations
Arriving with a full tank or a fully charged battery in your vehicle
Packing water, snacks, and a phone charger
Consider gloves, a flashlight, and a handcart or dolly
