Keeping you safe with free safety gear

Your safety as an Amazon Flex delivery partner is our priority. In support of this, we provide free safety gear for you to use while at the station and during deliveries. We are continually expanding to additional locations, making more gear available, as well as offering new types of gear.

Reflective safety vests

Everyone, including Amazon Flex delivery partners, must wear a high-visibility safety vest and closed-toed shoes at Amazon delivery stations and car parks. These vests are available from delivery stations at no cost to you. They are designed with reflective technology to help you stay visible to other vehicles, Amazon customers and the community while at the delivery station and on the road. For maximum visibility, it is important that you wear your safety vest as the outermost layer at all times when making Amazon Flex deliveries.

Vehicle magnets

‍Amazon Flex offers two types of free vehicle magnets at select delivery stations. These magnets are free and are to designed to keep you safer on the road by letting community members identify you as a delivery driver, and that your vehicle makes frequent stops. When using vehicle magnets, remember not to block functional parts of your vehicle, such as sensors, door handles, or number plates.

‍Headlamps

‍To help you see better in the dark during deliveries, we offer free headlamps at select delivery stations. A headlamp helps you spot obstacles sooner in the dark and frees your hands to better hold packages and use handrails safely. When picking up a headlamp, you may be asked to complete a brief confirmation survey.

‍Sunscreen kiosks

‍To help protect you from sun exposure, we have installed automatic sunscreen kiosks at all delivery stations for your convenience.

‍Backpacks

‍To help keep your hands free during deliveries and use handrails safely, we offer backpacks for packages at all delivery stations while supplies last. The backpacks can hold up to 15kg of package weight and are water-resistant. Delivery partners need to complete a survey sent to their email and show it to an Amazon associate at the delivery station.If you ever need help finding safety items, ask an Amazon associate at the station for assistance.
